Rome Caput Media Presents the Best of Italian Ict

Post by HujaifaAmin »

The reference event for ICT, which took place last week at the Marriott Park Hotel for Rome Caput Media. Here are some numbers of the event: over 4000 visitors, of 12 different nationalities; sponsors and exhibitors reach 101; 55 are the Italian and foreign associations and media partners; more than 200 international speakers and over 40 specialized conferences. VON Europe 2007 brought together the major Italian and European telecommunications players. The topics focused on VoIP for businesses and consumers, Security & Privacy, FMC, VNMO and mVoIP and Open Source VoIP. At Von Europe, the conference session dedicated to Open Source telephony certainly drew great attention, as well as the point on Open Source applications in IP telephony.

No less interesting was the Video on the Net Conference. The topics dealt with concerned communities, p2p, social networking with numerous and updated debates on the PHONE NUMBER LIST future of TV and on how the web is revolutionizing the languages and strategies of production and distribution of broadcasters.Among the most interesting and awaited speakers were Derrick De Kerckhove, director of the Mcluhan Program, Jeff Pulver, founder of Pulvermedia, Mauro Lupi of IAB Italia, Carmelo Zaccone, but there were many Italian and international interventions that enlivened the conference rooms involving both industry experts and the simply curious.

With WiMax at the starting line (the call for tenders is coming soon), operators and experts have also scrutinized FMC - UMA and Mobile Virtual Network Operator - and Open Source solutions for Mesh Networks. Finally, the Videogov Summit addressed the issue of video surveillance in the public sphere: technological, social, institutional and regulatory aspects were examined through case histories of public and private applications. As for the news from the large world of stands and professional operators, I would like to point out just a few of the many interesting solutions proposed. Mastercom proposes to use VoIP technology in CRM projects and with a speech at the round table "How the Customer Relationship Supply Chain Changes in the Web 2.0 Era" illustrates its advantages and effects on business processes and infrastructure.
